#in-this- together/ Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine

To All our friends and guests, we have had to make a very hard decision to remain closed for now. Initally we thought it might be ok to open after March 29th but the situation is far too serious to take that risk. Currently ourselves and our community are free of Covid-19, but we will only remain so if we make the hard decisions now. As you are well aware, the population is here is small and diverse in age and very dependent on help from mainland services in a time of emergency.

Seachtain na Gaeilge 2020

Tá an tráth sin den bhliain buailte linn arís, Seachtain na Gaeilge-  Cár imigh an t-am?

Bhuel is Seachtain na Gaeilge a bhíonn againn anseo gach lá! Má thagann tú anseo ar saoire ná bíodh leisce ort do chúpla focal a úsáid!

Is breá linne comhrá a dhéanamh as Gaeilge agus is cuma linn cibé an bhfuil tú líofa nó ag foghlaim!

Cé nach bhfuil imeacht shonrach eagraithe againne is mian liom dea-scéal a scaipeadh!

Chuala mé inniú go hoifigúil (mar a dearfá) go mbeidh an Fastnet Film Festival ó Scoil Mhuire ag teacht go Cléire an 21ú Bealtaine.

Athbhliain Faoi Mhaise /Happy New Year

WOW what a year 2019 has been, It was my first  season at the helm of Cape Clear B&B.  In 2019 we were fortunate to be part of the TG4  documentary 'Bailte'. Cameras were with us for a day and what fun we had doing our best to look natural, however the crew were very kind and put us at our ease so when the programme aired on TG4 we were delighted with it and enjoyed it as did many people who got in touch with us afterwards.
